Through its exhibitions and programs, the museum fosters remembrance and intercultural dialogue. In Autumn 2024 the Museum celebrated its 10th anniversary. We had an honour to design the invitation for the anniversary.
The light blue envelope features a crafted illustration of the museum's iconic front wall. The number of lines corresponds to the number of years and months of the museum's existence. A special copper metal foil print adds a touch of celebrative shine.
Upon opening the envelope, the words 'We are here' by Marian Turski, historian, journalist, and Holocaust survivor, from the Grand Opening of the Museum, are immediately visible, in Yiddish, Polish, Hebrew, and English.
Inside the envelope, recipients will find postcards, each inviting them to a different event from the anniversary celebrations. The ornamental pattern on the reverse of each postcard is part of the Gwoździec Synagogue from the Museum's permanent exhibition. It serves as an artful nod to the rich Jewish heritage that POLIN preserves.
